Vitamin D may be the Vitamin for Cold and Flu season

Vitamin D May be the Vitamin for Cold and Flu Season

According to findings of a study with about 19,000 adults and adolescents, people with the lowest average levels of Vitamin D were about 40% more likely to have a recent respiratory infection, compared to those with higher Vitamin D levels.

The findings, published in this week’s Archives of Internal Medicine, indicated that increased intakes of the sunshine vitamin may be an important way to prime the immune system against disorders like the common cold.

“To our knowledge, this is the first population-based study to evaluate and demonstrate an association between serum 25 (OH) D level and upper respiratory tract infections,” wrote lead author of the study, Adit Ginde, MD from the University of Colorado, Denver.

Until Next Week,

The Key To Success Is Duplication!

As a downline sponsor, you may want to consider building your downline "deep", as opposed to "wide." Building your line too wide may stretch you and your members too thin. In order to build your downline deep, you must not only educate yourself about the program, but in practicing this, you must also concentrate on how to train and develop your first few levels of downline, so they will be able to train their first sponsor level. The key here is duplication. This will help you benefit financially in the long run.

New Associates are often under the impression that if they get enough sign-ups, a certain portion of those people will already possess the proper skills to sell the products and make their sponsor money. This is a big misconception; your main job is to properly train your members so you can both make money. They cannot do this without proper guidance and help. That is the whole purpose of joining a team, right?

You have to develop a system that your members can duplicate and pass on to their first level Associates. This system should be easy enough to pass on through several levels and ultimately help everyone understand what their job is as a sponsor to their members. If you do not work at placing a workable system in your downline, your group will eventually lose motivation, leaving you to wonder – "what went wrong?" Look to your upline for support in training your downline.

Once you have acquired a few downline members of your own, you will then want to start teaching them the beneficial techniques which you have acquired. This will help them in developing their own system and downline members, which will in turn benefit your entire structure. You will want to share any knowledge gained with your active members because this will help strengthen not only their trust in you, but also your entire downline.

Remember, the key to success is duplication! What works for you, must work for others. Leverage your time by creating a team of people who do what you do to build the business. By providing quality business tools and tapes, Youngevity® has made it easier than ever to use a duplicatable system in training your downline and achieving your goals!
